"Sustainably sourced", "eco-friendly", "carbon neutral" - these words go on labels for the same reason "pure" and "organic" do: nobody checks. Greenwashing is adulteration aimed at your conscience instead of your body, and we treat it the same way - as something to be proven, stage by stage, or not said at all.
Environmental data enters Pramaan360 through the same evidence pipeline as everything else. A supplier doesn't type a footprint into a marketing field - they submit carbon and packaging data against a batch, where it joins the tamper-evident chain of custody. Change it later and the cryptographic signatures after it break, exactly as they would for a forged lab report.
That's the whole thesis: a supply chain you can already verify is the only honest place to compute an environmental number from.

What we don't claim. Pramaan360 is not carbon neutral, holds no offsets, and issues no carbon credits today. The sustainability surfaces described below on this page are roadmap, not shipped. We'd rather say that plainly than put an unearned leaf on a label - a platform built to catch false claims has to start with its own.
Carbon markets fail on measurement, reporting and verification - credits get issued against numbers nobody can trace back to a real place, a real date and a real practice. Smallholder farmers, who do much of the sequestering, are usually the ones excluded, because the paperwork costs more than their credits are worth.
Pramaan360 already collects the missing half: GPS-tagged, timestamped, photographed, signature-chained records of what happened on a specific farm on a specific day. Carbon credits aren't a pivot for us - they're what this data is worth once it exists.
The order matters. Credits before certification is how carbon markets got their reputation; we're taking the steps in sequence.
